Bentley Speed Six 1929
As the four-cylinder engine, Bentley included straight-6 overhead cam, four valves per cylinder and two spark plugs per cylinder, technology unusual at the time, and a block in one piece cylinder and iron yoke, and so no head gasket to blow.
The standard Bentley 6 ½-liter Bentley Speed Six high efficiency are sports and luxury cars on the basis of Bentley rolling chassis production in 1926/30. The Speed Six, introduced in 1928, Bentley became the most successful racing. Two Bentley Speed Six was known as the Blue Train Bentleys after the engagement of their shopping Woolf Barnato Blue Train owner in 1930.

The cone clutch type has been replaced by a drawing-plate dry, comprising a clutch brake for fast switching, and fins four wheels, drum brakes have been used. The front brake drums had 4 leading shoes in each drum [citation needed] and the brakes were also approved. Using a compensation device patented by the driver can adjust the four brakes to correct wear while driving. This was particularly beneficial during the race.
