Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am
Ferrari has been renowned as a manufacturer’s sports car world. Currently, one of the models they have, Ferrari 458 Italy has become the model of the development of the Grand Am and they have begun testing the vehicle at the Fiorano circuit. The Grand Am is the first production is intended to compete in the Grand-Am’s Rolex Sports Car Series GT class rules under the current GT. The Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am is based on the GT3 version of the V8-powered Ferrari Berlinetta.
The difference between the new 458 model Grand Am and the European version is that the Grand Am a total of 500 horsepower (470 hp and not like the other 458 race cars Italia) at maximum speed of 8000 develops. Slowing the North American Grand Am down a 48 mm restrictor and less efficient aerodynamics than the GT version. Compared with a standard 458 Italia, the Grand Am model features a revised brake system (since the car has ABS and traction control are missing) and a rollover bar, which gives greater lateral protection for the safety. The car is equipped with tires only provider of the Grand Am series, Continental.
